about

these are essentially etudes, playing with various types of echo, delay, reverb, and pitch tracking. Each track is one guitar track only, played straight through with no overdubs.
The pitch tracking was interpreted to midi notes (mostly incorrectly) and used to drive electric piano or synth patches in Reaktor. The piece "Echopraxia" is mostly just that.

The last track is a separate etude, bass and lap steel used to make a piece inspired by listening to the Muffin Ensemble, who are a duo that improvise with bass and pedal steel.
